NPO honours Class of 2022
The NPO is looking for sponsorship for courses for more students next year.
Unified Joshua (UJ) Development/Accounting acknowledged 11 of its students at its sixth annual bookkeeping graduation ceremony held in Van Dyk Park on November 26
According to UJ, an NPO, lecturer and founder Rochelle Moodley, the Class of 2022 has done exceptionally well in their theory and practical lessons. Their assessments and practical results were from 75 to 93%.
“With 145 students graduating to date, Saturday was overwhelming with all the great testimonies from one of my first-year graduates Nathaniel Moodley.”
Rochelle highlighted her passion is to bring about change through the finance sector across South Africa and even globally.
“Most of my students cannot afford to pay for the course and do not have matric. Nevertheless, I choose to give them a chance as I believe that education is the key to success.”
The lecturer added the organisation needs the community’s support.
“For me to reach more and educate more I’m looking at businesses to sponsor a child’s course for 2023 or assist with projector, laptop, desks and chairs.
“I want to move to the next level of graduating more students and to do that I need to move from my current premises into my very own school of finance. I’m an accountant by profession, a lecturer and a woman of great influence in our communities.”
She expressed her gratitude to her husband, Shaun Moodley, kids, supporters and her fellow students who helped her achieve success and greatness in making a difference.
