Sunward Park padel club honours players
The awards concluded a successful season of competitive padel tennis.
Green Turf Padel capped off a good season with its inaugural league awards ceremony on January 31, to not only celebrate competitive padel but the growth of the sport in Boksburg.
The awards concluded an exciting season that saw players from across Ekurhuleni come together to compete weekly and support the sport, which is one of the fastest growing codes in the world.

The event highlighted Green Turf Sports’ commitment to building an inclusive sporting hub where players of all levels feel welcome.
“The success of this league shows what happens when a community rallies around sport. It’s not just about winning matches, it’s about friendships formed, confidence built, and creating a space where people belong,” said the Sunward Park-based company.
“Beyond the trophies, the evening celebrated the role sport plays in uplifting the Boksburg community – bringing together families, friends, and players from diverse backgrounds in a positive, active environment.”
