Open electrical boxes cause concern
Residents of Dalpark have raised concern about an open electrical box along Cycad Street.
According to residents, the box, which is partially covered in plastic, has been in this state for some time.
One women complained that she has seen children at the box and suspects they switch off the electricity to her residence, as well as other properties in this street.
The Herald noted three other open boxes in Brakpan, one of which is situated opposite Anzac Primary School, along Elliot Street.
The other two are situated along Prince George Avenue.
Comment is awaited from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
