The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality wishes to inform residents in the Brakpan area of  two planned power supply interruptions scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 19 and Sunday, November 16, from midnight until 8am.

The planned power outages are due to the replacement of the old electrical equipment at the Van Eck substation.

The whole of Brakpan (excluding Brakpan North), Geluksdal and Langaville will be affected by the outages.

Residents are reminded to treat all electrical network points and equipment as electrically alive at all times.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality apologised for any inconvenience caused.
