Weekend crime round-up
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend (May 29, 30 and 31):
Friday
A housebreaking occurred in Punda Maria, Leachville. The garage and the house door were found wide open.
Only a television set was stolen.
Another housebreaking occurred in Muriel Brand Street, Brenthurst.
Two television sets, two tablet computers, a DVD player and wine bottles were stolen.
A business burglary occurred in Brakpan Street, Anzac, and another one in Bekker Street, Dalview.
Copper pipes, toilet fittings, water taps, a water boiler and cutlery were stolen.
Saturday
A vehicle, parked along Queens Street, was stolen.
In Cheetah Street, Leachville, a car was broken into; a car battery and radio were stolen.
Sunday
A housebreaking occurred at the corner of Kitzinger and Wanderers Streets.
Two bicycles were stolen.
