Pupils inspired by Carnival City
A group of 21 Grade 12 pupils from Ekurhuleni high schools experienced the inner workings of the dynamic entertainment and hospitality industry on Thursday, May 28, when they were hosted by Carnival City and the Afrisun Community Trust at Carnival City, as part of the annual Take a Girl Child to Work campaign.
Schools invited to be part of the initiative were Brakpan High School, Kwathema High School and Tsakane High School.
With the aim of inspiring young girls to “dream, believe and achieve”, the partners treated the girls to an insightful day at the complex, where they were offered guidance by the teams and exposed to the working environment.
