Weekend crime round-up
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend (July 10, 11 and 12):

Friday
Three housebreakings occurred, in Grant Street (Sherwood Gardens), Civin Street (Sonneveld) and at the corner of Taft Street and High Street.
Tiles, two laptops, a Playstation and money were stolen.
A man was cycling to work when he was stabbed five times by two robbers, who stole his cellphone in Denne Road, Witpoortjie. He was taken to the Far East Rand hospital by ambulance.
A vehicle parked in Waterval Street, Leachville, was stolen.
A vehicle was broken into in Civin Street, Sonneveld, and another was broken into in Kitzinger Street. Three cellphones, a car radio and a wallet were stolen.
Saturday
A vehicle, parked at the corner of Voortrekker Road and High Street, was stolen.
In Kingsway Street, a motorbike was stolen and, in Queen Street, a vehicle was broken into and four radio speakers were stolen.
Sunday
A business robbery occurred at the corner of Olympia Road and Van Zyl Street, Brenthurst, where money was stolen. (Read more about it here)
A house robbery occurred in Hofmeyer Street, Brenthurst. A TV set, jewellery and a vehicle were stolen.
