Four houses targeted over the weekend

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend:

Friday

A vehicle parked in Hendrik Potgieter Road, Dalview, was stolen.

A housebreaking occurred in Kipling Crescent, Dalpark. A security company informed the home owner that the alarm went off. Upon arrival the home owner noticed that entry was forced into the house, but nothing was stolen.

A truck was hijacked at the corner of Lukas Steyn Street and Heidelberg Road at 11.15am.

In Lotus Avenue, Kenleaf, a housebreaking occurred, where a TV, camera, jewellery and a tool kit were stolen.

A burglary occurred at a business situated in Voortrekker Road. Packets of chips were stolen through a broken window. A suspect was detained.

A house situated in Modder Street, Sallies Village, was broken into. A handbag with contents was stolen.

Two vehicles, one parked in Gloucester Avenue, Dalview, and the other one parked at the corner of Cavendish Street and Voortrekker Road, were stolen.

A female motorist’s handbag was stolen in Heidelberg Road at 7pm, after a robber broke the passenger’s side window.

Saturday

A housebreaking occurred in Northdene Avenue. A PlayStation and a DVD player were stolen.

A vehicle parked at the corner of High Street and Queen Avenue was stolen.

A female security guard was raped at the corner of Gardiner Avenue and Bedford Street.

At the corner of North Avenue and Elliot Road a business was broken into and copper cables were stolen.

Sunday

A business situated at the corner of High and Wenden streets was broken into. Suspects gained entry through the roof. A TV and a laptop were stolen.
