The campaign has managed to raise R13.7-million in the past three years, and has quickly become one of South Africa’s most innovative and significant national fund-raising campaigns.
National Tekkie Tax Day is an annual national fund-raising campaign organised by 11 national welfare organisations, which represent more than 100 NGOs countrywide.
Join in the fun on Friday, May 27, by purchasing stickers for R10, or buy yourself trendy Tekkie Tax shoelaces for just R35 (stickers included).
Wearing your sticker on the day symbolises your support for the cause of your choice and where your heart lies.
There is a selection of causes to choose from, each falling within the following categories: children’s homes, organisations for people living with disabilities, education NPOs, animal shelters and welfare organisations that bring hope to the less fortunate.

Laces are available from Sherwood Pick n Pay, Jacks Paint, the Brakpan Garden Centre and the Brakpan SPCA.
