Praying for a united Brakpan
A prayer meeting and march against crime, drugs and alcohol abuse will take place tomorrow (Sunday).
The event, planned by the ANC and concerned community members, is aimed at uniting the people of Brakpan.
The march will start at 11am at the Sherwood Shopping Centre, which is situated at the corner of Hospital Road and Craven Street, in Brakpan North.
Participants will march to Tweedy Park, where the prayer meeting will be held.
“We will be praying for the safety of our senior citizens and for peace in Brakpan,” said Jonas Moeketsi Mokoena, the ANC councillor candidate for Ward 97.
“We will also be praying for victims of crime and those who are suffering.”
All Brakpan residents are invited to attend.
