Have a heart for Jaden
A Donkey Derby fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, May 6, to help cover the medical costs of a heart surgery for five-year-old Brakpan North resident Jaden Trollip.
Jaden, who was born with a form of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) called tricuspid atresia, recently survived his third major heart surgery at the Netcare Sunninghill Hospital, in Johannesburg.
Prior to this operation, the Reach for a Dream Foundation granted Jaden his greatest wish and he spent a fun-filled day at Carnival City playing with his best friend (Herald, March 17, ‘A dream of a day for Jaden‘).
The derby will take place at 5pm for 5.30pm, at the Party Venue, at 89 Patten Road, in Benoni Agricultural Holdings.
