UPDATE: Location Road reopened

Motorists are advised to drive with caution as the road is littered with debris.

Location Road has been reopened after it was blocked by residents of the nearby Mgongofiya informal settlement this morning.

The road was barricaded following reports that the squatters were going to be evicted.

The rumoured eviction did not take place.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution along Location Road as it is littered with debris including rocks, broken glass, tree branches and the remains of burnt tyres.
