Course ends on a high note

Hirsch’s Carnival recently hosted a fun and informative monthly course for domestic workers, giving these women the opportunity to learn and grow.

Margaret Hirsch was a special guest speaker at the last event of the year and encouraged the women to grow their own businesses and pass on their new skills to others.

Hirsch’s Chantelle du Plessis provided the participants with training on the cleaning of different types of home appliances.

As it was the final event of the year, goodie bags were handed out to each attendee.

After the training, Anna Mhlanga from Bonaria Baking School taught the women how to make pizza.

The Domestic Worker of the Month was Sonto Buthelezi who was nominated by her employer Clair Murphy.

Sonto has worked for Clair for several years and was described as “an absolute gem to have in the home”.
