Three lives lost during festive season

Three road users lost their lives in the greater Brakpan area during the period from December 1, 2017 to January 2, 2018.

One male pedestrian died after being knocked down by a sedan at the intersection of the R23 and R554. A male driver in a sedan, involved in a collision at the intersection of R23 and Geluksdal Roads in Tsakane, sustained serious injuries and died on the scene.

The third fatality was a male cyclist who was knocked down on the R23 between Mans and Lukas Steyn Roads in Tsakane.
