Colourful tea party turns heads

A large number of supporters enjoyed a Mad Hatters Tea Party at the East Rand Children’s Haven on Saturday morning (19 May).

Colourful and beautifully decorated tables set the scene for a fun-filled morning and interesting hats certainly had heads turning.

Charné Labuschagne (left), Elna van Rensburg and Loraine du Plessis supported the fund-raising morning.

Kim (left) and Yvonne Watson enjoyed the tea party.

Courtney Murphy (13), who assisted at the display of stunning jewellery, was one of the younger volunteers who made sure the morning was an unforgettable one.

A Mad Hatters Tea Party was held at the East Rand Children’s Haven on Saturday morning. The event was well attended by residents from Brakpan and neighbouring towns. Four Alberton residents who showed up with colourful hats are Sherry Mease (left), Linda de Jongh, Lynn Aspden and Theresa Bond. More photos on page —–
