The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (October 29 to 30):

Cases reported:

• Theft out of motor vehicle: 2
• Residential burglary: 3
• Theft: 1
• Possession of stolen property: 1
• Truck theft: 1
• Sexual assault: 1
• Driving motor vehicle without a licence: 1

Arrests:

• Assault GBH: 1
• Possession of stolen property: 5
• Possession of drugs: 1
• Speeding: 5

Burglary:

• Freel Street, Minnebron.

The home was broken into yesterday (Monday).

Stolen: A laptop.

• Hospital Road, Brakpan North (vacant house).

The break-in was discovered on Tuesday, last week.

Stolen: Taps, basins and wiring.

• Petrus Avenue, Sunair Park.

The home was burgled yesterday.

Stolen: Jewellery, a laptop, TVs and other household items.

Theft out of/from motor vehicle:

• Cash and a car jack were stolen from a vehicle parked at an address along Milner Avenue on Sunday.

Two bicycles were stolen from the same premises.

• A drill was stolen from a bakkie parked at the corner of High Street and Kingsway Avenue yesterday.

Truck theft:

• On Friday, a white Nissan UD 60 truck was stolen from the corner of Denne and Lemmer roads in Vulcania.
