Hijacking:
• A Station Road resident was hijacked in the driveway of his home last night (Tuesday).
The victim arrived at his residence around 9.20pm and parked his white Ford Ranger bakkie.
He was closing the front gate when a gang of about five men attacked him.
At least three of the hijackers were armed with guns.
The victim lost consciousness after struggling with the hijackers.
In addition to taking the bakkie, the hijackers also took the victim’s wallet and cellphone.
Burglary:
• Northdene Avenue
The break-in took place on Monday.
Stolen: A TV, a handbag, jewellery and clothes.
• Muir Avenue.
The home was broken into yesterday.
Stolen: A laptop and other valuables.
Theft from motor vehicle:
• On Monday, a battery was stolen from a car parked at an address along Waterval Road in Leachville.
• A battery was stolen from a vehicle parked along Curtis Street in Brenthurst, yesterday.
