According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (June 20 to 21):

Cases reported:

• Residential burglary: 1
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1
• Contravening Protection Order: 1
• Possession of stolen motor vehicle: 2
• Business burglary: 1
• Theft: 2
• Possession of drugs: 2
• Pointing a firearm: 1

Arrests:

• Possession of drugs: 2
• Possession of stolen motor vehicle: 3
• Pointing a firearm: 1
• Speeding: 1

Burglary:

• Denne Road, Witpoortjie (business).

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A safe containing cash, liquor, a TV and a radio.

• Queen Avenue.

The home was burgled yesterday (Thursday).

Stolen: Clothes.
