Create a Meat-free Monday dish and win

During the Covid-19 pandemic we are all on a mission to stay as fit and healthy as possible and with that in mind, Hirsch’s and the popular catering company, Eat Greek, have come up with a fun competition to get your taste buds dancing.

Meat-free Monday has become a popular international trend.

The idea is to challenge people to not eat meat on Mondays in an effort to improve their health – and the health of our planet.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we are all on a mission to stay as fit and healthy as possible and with that in mind, Hirsch’s and the popular catering company, Eat Greek, have come up with a fun competition to get your taste buds dancing.

To enter, come up with your tastiest vegetarian dish, accompanied by a delicious colourful salad, and send us a photo of the end result, along with a photo of the dish’s creator/s.

Prizes up for grabs include Hirsch’s and Eat Greek vouchers, Margaret Hirsch’s My Vegetarian Life cook book and the chance to feature as a guest chef on Hirsch’s Kitchen Capers virtual Zoom session.

Send your photos to Hirsch’s PRO Chantelle du Plessis at chantelled@hirschs.co.za to enter.

The competition closes on June 15.
