Church serves up Portuguese fare

On the menu is a half Portuguese chicken and a bread roll for R40.

Give the Sunday cooking a miss on August 2 and head down to the drive-through at St John the Baptist Catholic Church for a tasty chicken meal.

The “Drive-Thru Chicken Festa” aims to raise funds for the church.

Meals can be collected from noon until 3pm.

Place your order before July 28.

The church is situated at 74 Queen Avenue.
