WATCH: EFF members protest outside Clicks at Mall@Carnival

They applauded and sang as Clicks staff walked out of the store before the doors were locked.

Eight Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members gathered outside the Clicks Store in the Mall@Carnival earlier today to protest the use of an offensive advert on the store’s website.

Shopping was not disrupted and police, the EMPD and local security companies kept a close eye on the peaceful group.

A decision was taken to close the store for the rest of the day and the EFF members applauded and sang as Clicks staff walked out of the store before the doors were locked.

The incident did not seem to upset shoppers, and mall patrons continued with their business as normal.
