Shopping voucher up for grabs in Herald’s annual front page Christmas photo competition

The last edition of the Herald for 2020 will hit the streets on Christmas Eve and we’re searching for a photograph to grace the front page of this issue.

This year, along with the glory of having your photo published on the front page, the photographer who submits the winning photo will also receive a gift voucher to the value of R3 000.

This fantastic prize is courtesy of Sherwood Pick n Pay.

Just think about it! You will have R3 000 in your pocket to do last-minute Christmas shopping, fill up your grocery cupboards or spend it on stationery for your children when the school year kicks off.

This annual competition is easy to enter – simply take a photograph with a Christmas theme.

There should be at least one person in the photograph and it’s important to note that the photograph must not be digitally manipulated.

The following information is required when entering a photograph (entries with excluded information will not be accepted):
• Name, surname and age of each person in the photo.
• A short description of where and when the photo was taken.
• Name, surname and contact number of the photographer.

Photographs must not be more than a month old – last year’s Christmas photos won’t be accepted.
• Photographs smaller than 1MB will not be considered.
• Only Brakpan residents can enter.

Photos can be emailed as separate jpeg attachments to brakpanherald@caxton.co.za.

The closing date is December 10 at 9am.

It is important to note the judge’s decision is final, and the prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
