Don’t give Christmas gifts to waste removal workers

Should the City's officials request such gifts, residents are urged to report it to the call centre on 0860 543 000.

The festive season is upon us and the City of Ekurhuleni is aware that many residents are already in the spirit of giving, even to the City’s waste removal officials.

Residents are discouraged against giving out Christmas gifts of any form, be it money, tins of cakes or even alcohol as this may affect service delivery and other residents may feel harassed.

Should the City’s officials request such gifts, residents are urged to report it to the call centre on 0860 543 000.

Furthermore, residents are notified that waste removal services will be operational during the festive season as per the calender dates except for Christmas Day on December 25.
