
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:
• Friday – A TV was stolen during a break-in at a home in Touwsrivier Street, Leachville.
* A Dalpark woman and her children were robbed in their Shakespeare Street home by two gunmen.

The robbers casually walked into the house around 8pm while the woman was in the lounge and her children were in their bedroom.
One of the men kept a guard over the children, while the other searched the house.
The woman was instructed to sit on the floor.
After taking a TV, a cellphone and a laptop, the robbers fled in a white BMW.
The family was physically unharmed.
* A business in Grey Street, Anzac, was burgled of various valuables including a TV, a sound system, a printer, a bicycle and a WiFi router.
• Saturday – A bicycle was stolen from a vehicle in the Plastic City informal settlement.
* A motorist waiting for his girlfriend along Station Road near the Brakpan Taxi Rank was robbed by two men.
The robbers confronted the man at 9.45pm as he was sitting in his car.
They threatened him at gunpoint and instructed him to get out of the vehicle.
The robbers searched the man and his car, taking a cellphone and R800.
They then told the victim to get back inside the car and drive off.
• Sunday – A green Nissan bakkie was stolen from Kitzinger Avenue.
* A trailer containing gardening equipment was stolen from an address along Muir Avenue.
