Electricity prepayment system to be updated on Saturday
Customers will not be able to buy electricity during this period.
The City of Ekurhuleni’s electricity prepayment system will be down due to a system update between 2pm and 8pm this Saturday (February 20).
Customers will not be able to buy electricity during this period.

During the downtime period, the prepaid system will not be available at all vending points including third-party vendors such as retailers and online banking.
