Return your overdue library books at no cost during Fine-Free Week

Patrons are encouraged to drop the library books or material inside the drop box at their nearest library.

The City of Ekurhuleni is hosting a library Fine-Free Week from March 15 to 21.

Fine-Free Week is a period where library users with books that are overdue are allowed to return the library books or material without being fined or asked any questions.

Patrons are encouraged to drop the library books or material inside the dropbox at their nearest library during the week and save themselves a fine or penalty.

This is done to encourage those who might have missed the return dates of the books, to hand them back without any penalty or fine imposed on them.
