On October 31 voting closes for the 2026 Industry Recognition Awards, where local designer Stefni Binneman has been nominated for the best designer award.

The ceremony will take place that evening at the Idlewild Country Estate in Irene. The Starz’s Fashion and Boutique owner is excited about the nomination.

“I’m genuinely grateful and emotional about this nomination. To me it’s not just about the recognition, it’s about a reminder of every late night, every challenge and every bit of myself that I put into my work,” said Binneman.

“I do what I do with my whole heart, because it is so special to me to make people feel beautiful and self-assured. That other people see that passion and acknowledge it means more than words can say.

“Whether I win or not, this nomination alone makes me feel incredibly proud and thankful,” she concluded.
