All grades were searched and learners were cooperative.
The search aimed to create awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and the consequences of being in possession of drugs.
“We were surprised to see the police at our school; however, we are glad they conducted the drug search,” said school principal Lucky Nkopane.
“What they did is a good thing. They should continue doing these searches, as drugs are a huge problem in schools and communities.
“We must work together to uproot this problem and deal with it for the sake of our children and the future of our country.”
