Brakpan Police Station closed for decontamination

A Brakpan SAPS member has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Brakpan Police Station has been temporarily closed for decontamination after a member tested positive for Covid-19.

The telephone lines at Brakpan SAPS Community Service Centre (CSC) will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.

The police station will be operational from tomorrow (May 27).

Residents are advised to call 071 675 6962 or the sector numbers below for assistance with complaints:

• Sector One: 071 675 6954/55
• Sector Two: 071 675 6956/57
• Sector Three: 071 675 6959/59
• Sector Four: 071 675 6960/61

For other police-related matters, residents may also contact:

• Acting station commander: 082 822 8120
• Relief commanders: 071 675 6962
• Detective commander: 082 456 4760

A temporary CSC will be operational from the married quarters accommodation at the police station.

SAPS management apologised for any inconvenience caused.
