Brakpan parkrun takes place every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/ barcode.

A morning market will be held at the Alan Woodrow Retirement Village, situated along Rangeview Road, Dalpark from 9:00. Plants, boutique clothing, accessories, books, candles, original paintings, old coins second-time round clothes, toys and lots more will be on sale. Food and other treats will also be available and Irish dancers and a big brass band will entertain the visitors.

Die Just Wheels Motorklub mark word by die klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 69, gehou. Die dag bied die perfekte geleentheid vir oud en jonk om ’n genotvolle dag te beleef. Voertuie word uitgestal, vlooimark- en kosstalletjies kan besoek word en vermaak word deur die loop van die dag aangebied. Tomorrow the Musical, an Adaption of Annie, will be staged by Encore Theatre Productions at the Springs Theatre, 24 2nd Avenue, at 18:30. Proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to the East Rand Children’s Haven. Ticket prices are R150 for adults and R100 for under 18s. A Wellness Day will be held at NG Gemeente Brakpan-Oos, 79 Boundary Road, from 09:00 to 15:00. Presented by Shivdev Training Academy, the session aims to help you attain a better body, mind and soul. All ages are welcome. To book your seat, contact Hester Bosch on 083 307 0649.
