The Brakpan CPF hosted a fundraising event in Dalview on Saturday. Members of the Brakpan SAPS were also in attendance to show their support.
The CPF raised funds by selling boerewors roll and cold drinks, and the initiative proved to be a success.
CPF chairperson Tinus Jordaan explained the venue was offered to them by the owner of Plus Super Perry’s, who also donated all the rolls and boerewors sold on the day.
The drinks were a donation from a CPF member.

Brakpan SAPS station commander Brigadier Fredl Jonck applauded the CPF’s endeavour and extended his thanks to patrollers who always assist the SAPS in the fight against crime.
The brigadier also thanked the business owner for the donations and encouraged other businesses to follow suit.
