Mayor announces new EHC board members
The three newly appointed board members join Franklin Dikgale and Dumisa Hlawula, who already serve as EHC board members.
The executive mayor of the CoE, Sivuyile Ngodwana, was pleased to announce the appointment of the new board of the Ekurhuleni Housing Company (EHC).
The new board members are:
• Victor Rambau (board chairperson)
• Lumko Mthimde
• Thulisiwe Hangana
Ngodwana mandated the board to ensure the EHC operates with the highest standards of governance and accountability while playing a critical role in assisting the entity to improve its revenue generation.
“The EHC is a key enabler in our efforts to provide affordable and sustainable housing solutions that meet the needs of our residents.
“The appointment of the new board members is a significant step toward achieving our goal to provide quality and affordable housing to our people,” said Ngodwana, encouraging the new members to hit the ground running.
