Power supply to some parts of Brakpan will be affected as a result of emergency maintenance work to be carried out at the Vulcania Substation scheduled for tomorrow (August 5) until August 6, starting from 08:00 until 15:00 daily.

According to City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, the emergency maintenance work is necessary to prevent damages on the electrical components.

The affected areas include Brakpan Central, Brenthurst, Anzac and Vulcania.

Residents are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times.
