CPF hosts charity drive for East Rand families
The stakeholders helped many families in need to have a good festive season.
Jessy Naicker, the Exco patrol officer and Sector 4 deputy chairperson for Brakpan CPF, along with stakeholders held a charity drive on December 23.
Dalpark Residents Association held this third annual outreach program at the Dalpark Sports Fields where they handed out hampers to families in need.
Hampers included 50 grocery hampers, 30 hygiene hampers, 100 kiddies hampers, bedding, curtains, shoes, clothes, toys and meals and drinks for about 300 people from all over the East Rand.
The initiative was made possible by a number of stakeholders including SAPS, CPF Brakpan, PR councillor Tebogo Mathibane, Leachville and Watville patrollers and the Dalpark Residents Association, along with some security companies.
