It’s time for the Valke Peregrine League
Read on to see when local teams are scheduled to play in Valke Peregrine League.
The Valke Peregrine League is upon us and our local rugby teams said they are prepared for battle.
The league starts on May 25.
East Rand United will take on Boksburg Rugby Club during the first match to be held at the Owls’ home ground (PG Park).
The semi-finals are expected to take place on August 24, and the finals on August 31. Renier Mostert, Boksburg Rugby Club chairperson, said he is confident that the team will be ready for the league.
“The pre-season matches have been going well and the President’s League has been providing extra opportunities for us to prepare,” said Mostert.
East Rand United’s chairperson, Marius de Vos, said considering that the league is extremely competitive, their team needs to get more impact players to join their club if want to do better than the previous season.
