Senior golfers enjoy a successful round
They beat 77 other ladies to the competition prize.
Doreen Ensor-Smith and Hilde Meyer teamed-up to win the Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) monthly competition at Benoni Lake Club on August 7.
Ensor-Smith and Meyer scored 48 points for top honours.
The team of Phindi Kahl and Wendy Bernhardt scored 47 points (counted out) for second place while Nasima Bhyat and Jenny Looi rounded-up the podium.
The event saw around 79 ladies take to the green to compete for the August honours of this monthly competition.
“We had another successful day. The Lake Club Benoni captain, Heidi Charnock, did an excellent job in hosting the ladies,” said ESWG president Charmaine Stone.
