Saltare dancers excel in Dance Cup
The dancers fared well in the competition in Alberton.
Brakpan’s Saltare Dance Studio had two dancers win at the National Dance Society South Africa Dance Cup 2024 in Alberton on November 9.
Joshua Oelofse and Kirsten Reyneke competed for the studio, with Joshua receiving 79% for his newcomer bronze solo line dance exhibition and first place for his ballroom solo tango.
He also took first place in his social boogie partner dance with Kirsten, who also came first for her participation in the couples ballroom with coach and partner Anton Pretorius and second for couples Latin.
Anton owns the Saltare Dance Studio.
