Dan Triangle karateka receive their black belts
After 10 gruelling fights the members could don their black belts.
Members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club passed their Shodan (1st Dan black belt) and national black belt on November 2 at the Portuguese Hall in Turfontein.
The karatekas were graded by the Karate World Federation (KWF) senior grading panel, headed by Malcolm Dorfman Shihan. Each fighter had to complete 10 fights before they could wear their black belts.
