Young dancer to compete in Spain at world championships
The teen from Hoërskool Die Anker will compete in the newcomer teen male and teen divisions.
Joshua Oelofse (14), a Grade Eight learner at Hoërskool Die Anker and dancer for Dancing Stars Gauteng, will represent his studio and South Africa at the Western and Country Dance Federation (WCDF) World Championships in Spain from June 18 to 22.
Joshua is one of 19 dancers from across the country competing at the event.
He will take part in the classic line dance event in the newcomer teen male division, as well as the modern basic event in the teen division.
