Mall@Carnival clarifies cause of traffic light disruptions near the mall

Mall@Carnival assures residents that all systems on their end are functioning properly and that the traffic light issue is being addressed.

Mall@Carnival centre management is aware of the ongoing traffic light issues experienced over the past few days.

According to a post on the mall’s Facebook page, the matter has been investigated and all systems on the mall’s end are functioning properly.

“Unfortunately, there is a power failure issue from the provincial department of roads and transport. We are trying our outmost best to ensure that the traffic lights are up and running for your convenience,” reads the post.

“Your patience would be highly appreciated.”

Earlier this year, the Mall@Carnival and other stakeholders adopted the traffic lights at the intersection of Airport and Heidelberg roads, following months of the lights being out of order.
