Join the Just Wheels Club for the ultimate Race Cars and V8 Show Day from 09:00. Car enthusiasts and visitors can expect a showcase of race cars and V8s, along with food stalls, children’s entertainment and a flea market. Visitors are encouraged to bring donations of dog and cat food in support of the local SPCA. The Just Wheels Club is on 169 Kitzinger Avenue in Dalview.

Die NG Kerk, Brakpan-Noord, bied ‘n kermis aan vanaf 17:00. Daar sal heerlike eetgoed te koop wees en die publiek word uitgenooi om die kermis te ondersteun.

• 28 Februarie
Die Jukebox venue, Escombestraat 52, Jan Smuts Park, bied ‘n familie pretdag en sokkie aan vanaf 10:00 tot laat. Daar sal stalletjies wees, sowel as musiek en vermaak, ‘n potjiekos kompetisie, paintball teikenskiet, en vele meer. Vir meer inligting, kontak Natalie van Coppenhagen op 084 202 8224.

• Die Kerk van God van Profesie, Emmanuel Bediening, Hamiltonlaan 26, bied ‘n gemeenskapsuitreiking aan vanaf 10:00 tot 14:00. Gratis tweedehandse klerasie en lakens is beskikbaar. Almal is welkom.

• 4 Maart
Hoërskool Die Anker bied hul jaarlikse gholfdag by die State Mines Country Klub aan om fondse in te samel vir die skool se eerste rugby- en netbalspanne. ‘n Gholfdag ten bate van Karlien Roets word by die State Mines Country Klub aangebied. Die fondse sal aangewend word vir die versorging van die kind wat beseer is toe ‘n kombuiskas op haar geval het. Vir meer inligting en om in te skryf, kontak vir Karin Roets by 074 963 8955.

• The Golden Oldies’ Social Club meets every Thursday from 08:30 to 11:30 on 134 Gardiner Street. Open to anyone over 55 with spare time. The club does various crafts, plays board games and is planning a breakfast outing this year. For more information, contact Ursula Edwards on 082 491 6217.

• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (opposite the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free; bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
