Young Brakpan model crowned Miss Mini Gauteng

The young model feels at home on the catwalk, contributing to her win of the prestigious title.

Amile Mabaso (7), an Anzac Primary School learner and up-and-coming runway model, was crowned Miss Mini Gauteng for 2025 and 2026 on March 21 at the Victory Theatre in Johannesburg.

She said she was both excited and scared during her crowning. Her favourite part of the pageant was the group’s opening dance.

“I would like to inspire young girls my age, and I just enjoy walking the stage, modelling makes me happy,” she said.

“The way people treat others and the way they represent themselves is what makes someone special or beautiful.”

She would love to continue doing pageants, as she enjoys them a lot, but what she enjoys most is playing with her friends.
