Village of Hope expands impact with successful feeding initiative
With support from local donors and community partners, Village of Hope continues to uplift vulnerable children and families in informal settlements.
Village of Hope, a local non-profit organisation supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in informal settlements, recently hosted a successful community feeding programme in the Mgongo informal settlement near Brakpan North.
During the outreach, volunteers prepared and served samp and soup to community members with the generous support of Mam Nompumelelo Ndaba and Pick n Pay Mall@Carnival, whose contributions made the initiative possible
Village of Hope extended special appreciation to the Mgongo CPF for their presence and support during the event.
The initiative was carried out by the NPO team, including Nsuku Baloyi and Tlhokomelo Masolane, who continue to dedicate their time to serving vulnerable children and families.
Village of Hope is currently preparing for a School Winter Drive, aimed at assisting children with school clothing to help keep them warm during winter
The NPO welcomes continued support from community members and local businesses willing to partner in making a difference in the lives of children in need.
