WATCH: Starz’s Fashion showcases four collections at its first-ever fashion show
The collections are the first of Stefni Binneman as she bursts onto the scene after graduating.
Stefni Binneman, a BA honours graduate in fashion design, recently held her first fashion show after bursting onto the local fashion scene.
She showcased four collections at the Hyland Venue in Brakpan.
Lace and Dagger was the first on the runway, showcasing “edgy” and non-traditional wedding attire made from vintage and luxury fabrics. There were four looks in this collection.
The second collection, Funky 40’s, was a colourful daywear collection for women 40 and above who still want to stand out in a crowd while appearing more mature.

Something Old, Something New was another wedding attire collection. It proved that a wedding dress doesn’t need to sit in a box gathering dust but can be transformed into everyday wear, such as loungewear and lingerie.
Frankin Corp was the main show with a stunning collection of 10 ensembles. It is a reference to the fictional scientist Victor Frankenstein from Mary Shelley’s novel.
This collection combined repurposed parts of corporate wear to create new, unique corporate garments, much like Frankenstein combined body parts to create a new living being.
The event closed to great applause for the unique collections.
