The City of Ekurhuleni has announced that the Weltevreden landfill site in Brakpan and the Simmer and Jack landfill site in Germiston are temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

All site users are advised to use the Rooikraal landfill site near Boksburg, and Platkop which is at the corner of the N3 highway and the R550 near Heidelberg.
