Role Overview
Kappa Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced Manual Lathe Operator (Turner) to join our team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in hydraulic cylinder turning and be capable of maintaining high standards of precision and workmanship.
Minimum Requirements (Non- Negotiable)
•Proven experience operating a manual lathe
•Demonstrated experience in hydraulic cylinder turning
•Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy
•Strong understanding of machining tolerances and best practices
•Reliable, responsible, and maintains sober habits
Advantageous
•Residing in or near the Germiston area
•Previous experience within an engineering or hydraulic repair environment
Key Responsibilities
•Machining and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinder components
•Interpreting technical requirements and ensuring precision work
•Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards
•Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
