Explosiveness anticipated at milestone fight night

Expect fireworks when EFC returns to Carnival City, for the organisation’s milestone 40th event, on Saturday, June 6.

Dino Bagattin, the former welterweight champion, has been competing inside the Hexagon since EFC 01, and headlines the massive event against Dricus du Plessis, a member of the new generation of mixed martial artists.

Coming off a massive middleweight victory over Darren Daniel, du Plessis is cutting down to conquer the welterweight division.

Plus, former heavyweight champion Ruan Potts makes his awaited return from the UFC, as he is set to clash with heavyweight Frenchman Cyril Asker, while Irish fighting spirit will ignite as Dublin’s Peter Quelly moves down to lightweight, to go head-to-head with Fight Fit Militia’s (FFM) undefeated fighting sensation, Igeu Kabesa.

There will also be 10 more epic encounters in the Big Top Arena, on the night, and the full fight card can be found at efcworldwide.com.
