Thrilling, high octane power to get your pulse racing

With plenty of chicanes and tight corners, passing each other can be hair-raising at the best of times.

The Rock Raceway will come alive with high octane power when all the favourite drivers hotfoot it around the 400m circuit in various disciplines on Saturday, October 8.

There will be plenty of V8 action from the Outlaw V8 Sprints, as they roar around.

A host of Oval Saloon classes will also be racing, including the 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Pinto classes and Super Saloons.

Open wheelers will include the Kids In Racing SA Ninja Kids (ages three to 12), 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Karts and Formula 2 Midgets.

Adrenalin high-speed action from the Formula N circuit cars will keep visitors riveted to their seats as the saloon car drivers jostle for positions around the tricky race circuit.

With plenty of chicanes and tight corners, passing each other can be hair-raising at the best of times, but very entertaining for the crowds none-the-less.

Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 4pm.

The following evening will see the next Bandit Drag Racing Street 2 Strip Drags taking centre stage.

Bring your daily drive along and enjoy street drags in a safe environment.

Car clubs have been called out and it’s trophy night for the Best Supported Car Club, Best Looking Old School Car, Beast of the Strip and Biggest Burnout on the Start Line.

Bass Triggers will also be on hand for sound-off testing.

Gates open at 2pm and the racing starts at 4pm.
