V8 battle at the Rock
This will be the second round of the tour for the big V8 thunder sprint cars.
V8 engine fans will be in for a treat when the Ultimate Raceway Outlaws vs USA Outlaws Sprint Car Tour 2019 takes place at the Rock Raceway in Brakpan on March 9.
A full race day programme will also include all the other favourite oval and Formula N circuit classes.
The American drivers who have made their way to South Africa are Mike Stutsman (car number 21), Jason Blonde (car number 47), Tyler Roahrig (car number 88) and Brian Tyler (car number 10). The local riders, the Ultimate Raceway Outlaws, are Izak Spies (car number 71), Liza van Zyl (car number 17), Adriaan van Zyl (car number 27), Jacques Roos (car number 60), Jacques Schoeman (car number 12), Pierre de Ridder (car number 70), Eddie Drake (car number 24), Jaco Correia (car number 45), Roelf du Plessis (car number 22) and Andries Marx (car number 8).

All the women supporters will be glad to see Liza van Zyl thunder around the circuit among all the men in her V8-powered sprint car.
Gates open at 10am with practice for all classes and racing starts at 4pm.
