Bollywood’s Sunidhi Chauhan to shine at Carnival
Fans can look forward to a stellar live performance.
After sold out shows in South Africa seven years ago, Bollywood’s sensational Sunidhi Chauhan returns to the country for two appearances, one of which will take place at Carnival City on Saturday, April 23.
Fans can look forward to a stellar live performance of some of her hit songs, such as “Kamli”, “Dilli Wali Girlfriend”, “Be Intehaan”, “Punjabi Wedding Song”, “DJ”, “Piku”, “Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari”, “Chor Bazaari”, “Girls Like to Swing”, and “Halkat Jawani”.
Chauhan, who is also responsible for evergreen numbers like “Dhoom Machale Dhoom”, “Sheila ki Jawaani” and “Beedi Jalaile”, has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over 15 years and has been touted as the number one singer of this generation.
She has recorded songs in several other Indian dialects and languages, making her one of the most recorded voices in India today, with over 3 000 studio recordings and 50 million albums sold worldwide.
Chauhan made her international debut with the song “Heartbeat”, a collaboration with Enrique Iglesias.
This talented songstress has just returned from the Global Citizen Festival, in New York, where she was introduced by Hollywood A-listers Hugh Jackman and Salma Hayek and shared the stage with Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
The show will take place in the Big Top Arena at 8pm.
